Possessing no discernible talent of their own, the founders of Hellbound met the devil at midnight on a deserted crossroad and agreed to sell their eternal souls for fame & fortune. Having just granted the same request to Rove McManus however, the devil was fresh out of both, and could only offer them a patchy idea for an obscene greeting cards company. The bargain was reluctantly struck for the reduced price of a few weeks in limbo and a sacrificial goat at the equinox.

Thus, Hellbound was unleashed upon the world.

Refraction

R E F R A C T I O N Site

Refraction is a monthly experimental music, sound and new media night featuring students performing alongside established artists.

It is dedicated to the support, mentorship and development of student projects as they take their practice from the classroom to the community. Refraction first began in September 2009, in a bid to revive UTS student sound culture as Disorientation had done previously. It is curated and organised by the UTS Sound Collective: a mixed bag of students, enthusiasts, artists and electronic abusers.
